About Graham Lindsay Kitchens Belfast
Lindsay Furniture Design was established in 2004 and is owned and managed by Graham Lindsay.Graham is a graduate of The Thomas Chippendale School of Furniture (Scotland) and holds a Master Carpenter’s Certificate from the Institute of Carpenters. Graham was awarded the Certificate in July 2005.
The Master Certificate Scheme aims to demonstrate the status of highly qualified and experienced craftsmen in wood trades and to encourage them to foster the development of trainees and students in these crafts. The certificate scheme has been established by the Institute to protect the traditional skills of carpenters and joiners. The Master Certificate scheme is run by the Institute of Carpenters and is sponsored by the Worshipful Company of Carpenters, the Worshipful Company of Joiners and Ceilers, the City and Guilds of London Institute.
Each piece of furniture made by Graham is handcrafted using traditional and non-traditional techniques.
No two pieces are the same – every piece of Furniture design is individual but crafted to the highest quality.
Graham sources quality timbers from across the globe and makes the furniture pieces to your design in the more familiar cherry, maple, oak and walnut to native hardwoods such as ash, beech, elm, oak, pippy oak and sycamore which are sourced from managed native and European woodlands. Also available are decorative hardwood veneers from renewable tropical sources such as bird’s eye maple, rosewood, satinwood and wenge.
